Windows 7: Disable All Balloon Notifications

Isn’t annoying? Let’s disable these popups altogether.

1. Open Registry Editor (click Start Orb, type RegEdit and press Enter)
2. Go to this location:

   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

3. Create a new key. Right click on Advanced and click New and select DWORD (32-bit) Value.
4. Type the key name as EnableBalloonTips
5. Double click to open "EnableBaloonTips key and change the value to 0
6. Click Registry Editor. Log off and log back in.
7. That’s it, no more popups. Enjoy.
